Fancy running a 10K and helping vulnerable children in poverty at the same time?  

The International Children's Trust is one of a group of charities who can benefit from this Dream Challenge organised by Action for Charity. The Challenge takes place in April 2014 so there is plenty of time to get active and raise lots of funds for this great adventure.

Marjolaine Chaintreau, Lisa Wong, Richard Chaves-Sanderson, Amber Wilson and Gareth Jones formed Team ICT for the London 10k on Sunday 8th July. Despite showers of rain, each of our team completed the run in under an hour. April 12 is the International Day for Streetchildren. You can find out more about the work of our partners working with streetchildren as well as how you can help improve their lives too in the latest ICT newsletter.

We are extremely grateful that Rachel Samren will be running the NY marathon in on November 6th (her first!) in support of the International Children's Trust.

On 30th October, The ICT Trustee Dan Jones and his friends will duly take their turn to cycle  the 90km from London to Brighton  in The ICT's bike4kidsworldwide Mark Foster challenge.

We are happy to report that we have created a facebook page  which we hope supporters will visit.

The International Children's Trust is looking for runners for the upcoming London 10km which takes place on Sunday 10th July.  If you are a keen runner, are happy to fundraise amongst your family, friends and colleagues, and are fit enough to run a 10km distance then email or call 01733 319777.

On Mothering Sunday, 3rd April Joan Bakewell made an appeal on BBC Radio 4.  The appeal was broadcast twice that day and repeated the following Thursday.  It featured one the many stories of vulnerable children whose lives have been transformed by the ICT's support of local partners in the field.

The International Day for Street Children: Louder Together was launched on 12th April, to give a louder voice to the millions of street children all around the world so their rights cannot be ignored.
